To have IMPACT IN LIVES by providing high impact oriented, cost effective, & culturally competent capacity building programs to people in Tanzania particularly; youth living with disabilities, widows, disable and children of school going age.



About Us
Hope and Bright Future Organisation is a non-profit making organisation that is devoted to address challenges faced by people living with disabilities in Tanzania, is a newly established organisation with registration no 00NGO/R/4321, Registered on 23rd January, 2023 under the NGOs Act No.24 of 2002 as amended 2005 and 2019. People living with disabilities and Young people in Tanzania face multiple problems such as gender-based violence, early pregnancies and economic marginalisation leading to extreme poverty.

This has caused young people to be left behind in the development process. it is important to implement community initiative activities through advocacy, partnership and networking, empowerment of young people's rights and children and responding to the unemployment, limited opportunities for socio-economic development, HIV and AIDS, COVID-19 interventions, working closely with all interested stakeholders in order to enhance the improved quality of life of Tanzanian population.

Why We Exist
In Tanzania, young people and those living with disabilities face extreme poverty, economic marginalisation, and gender-based violence. We believe these young people are assets to their communities. By providing the right guidance, we help them transition from being "left behind" to becoming influential leaders of positive change.

Our Objectives
  1. Engage stakeholders effectively by forming partnerships in climate action, addressing priorities collectively.
  2. Enhance member awareness and capacity for active involvement in climate initiatives through targeted programs.
  3. Ensure disability inclusion in all aspects of climate action, prioritising meaningful participation.
  4. Expand connections with climate actors, fostering collaborations for inclusive climate policies and initiatives.

Our Approaches
Our mission will be completed through the following approaches;-
  • Empower people living with disabilities and young people with comprehensive life skills and knowledge on advocating for their development
  • Advocate for the availability of more resources for supporting people living with disabilities and young people-led interventions on responding to effects of climate change;
  • Raising awareness of the adverse effects of HIV and AIDS in the community;
  • Facilitate people living with disabilities and young people with entrepreneurship skills to participate in middle - income economy
  • Enhance the capacity of communities in addressing gender-based violence and violence against children and people living with disabilities.

Empowerment of young people with comprehensive life skills education on sustaining their livelihood and Supporting People with disabilities with musical instruments.
LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION SUPPORT
Music Instruments support to people with disabilities
Enhance the capacity of communities in addressing Gender Based Violence HIV Combination Prevention using a mix of biomedical, behavioural, and structural approaches to meet the HIV prevention needs of AGYWs and communities.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Weigh scale support
Economic empowerment by providing weighing scale to people with disabilities for reducing dependency Advocating for availability of more resources for supporting young peopled led interventions on climate change.

IN AND OUT OF SCHOOL CLUBS
Young People Support
Age appropriate school and out-of-school-based prevention programmes in the context of comprehensive sexuality education for children and young people.

Organisation Structure
Management Team
The management team implements the daily activities of the Organisation. It composes of Organisation Executive Director, Finance & Administrative Manager, Programs Manager, M&EL Coordinator, Accountant, Projects Officers, heads of units and other support staffs.

It meets every first week of the months or any time the need arises to discuss and make sure that the set objectives are achieved.
